Foundations of Cultural Awareness & Inclusion in Education

Our course helps educators build cultural awareness and inclusivity into every classroom interaction, gaining the confidence to engage with any student from any background.

Through the foundations of cultural competence, identity, and their intersections, teachers learn to understand their students’ backgrounds, genders, abilities, languages, and identities in context. They gain practical strategies to design lessons and adapt teaching practices in ways that are more effective, meaningful, and rewarding.

This is the first course in a comprehensive program dedicated to culturally responsive and inclusive pedagogy, equipping education professionals with the skills and insights to continue developing inclusive classrooms and effective teaching practices throughout their careers.
